Funding for local community groups now available from Leabridge Ward Community First Panel

The deadline for this year’s bids is 1 February 2014.  We would like to encourage bids typically around £500 although bids can be made up to around £2,500. The final decision on awarding the grant will be made by the Community Development Foundation.

Bids can be sent in any time up to the final deadline of noon, 1 February 2014.

The total available for next year’s projects is £8,488 for organisations based or working in Leabridge ward, London Borough of Hackney.

Those bids that the panel will be recommending to the CDF will be notified by mid – February, 2014, and successful awards will be paid out from April 2014.

      I’m not sure if you mean specifically in Hackney and whether it’ll cover all these topics; Yeah Hackney – http://www.yeahhackney.com/ – was a community forum (sadly closed this year) but they still run their Twitter account.

      There’s a lot of community activity across Clapton and the rest of Hackney and some of the groups have probably got discussion forums.
