Happening this weekend! St James’ Church, opposite the Pond, has this free workshop: Sat, 4th April, 10.30am – 5pm – WorkshopSun 5th April – 10am – Easter Sunday Performance For adults and children, 8 years old and above. Open to anyone (regardless of faith). Use the QR code or website to sign up.
St James’ church in Lower Clapton Road celebrated Palm Sunday last weekend with palm crosses and a procession in church. They will be going on to mark Holy Week with a series of services, including a Walk of Witness carrying a large wooden cross through the streets on Good Friday, and an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday!

This last Saturday, there was an event, preceded by a bus announcement that’s about 100 years old (and late as usual, on here!!!). The event was a Route 38 heritage day, and No 38 heritage buses, from the 1930s, were being run on the usual 38 route (as well the usual modern buses), terminating as usual, at Clapton Pond.
